David Glover
David has advised clients both within the United Kingdom and overseas on all aspects of transport law, health and safety law and environmental law.
David has represented clients interests in (1) the Magistrates Court; (2) the Crown Court; (3) the Administrative Court; and (4) a variety of specialist Tribunals and Committees (including Public Inquiries before the Traffic Commissioner, the Transport Tribunal, the VAT and Duties Tribunal, Appeals and Licensing Committee, and HM Coroners Court).
David regularly undertakes compliance system audits to ensure best practice within the health and safety law framework and compliance with transport operators undertakings. David delivers training and advice to a number of clients ranging from sole traders to large multi-national organisations and has presented a number of seminars on transport and health and safety law issues.
David is accredited in Legal 500 2005 as a “recognised specialist” in the field of transport law and he is a member of a number of trade organisations.
Before becoming a solicitor David was employed by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) as an enforcement officer for twelve years and was responsible for ensuring commercial operators' and drivers' compliance with road transport and health and safety legislation.
